The Journey to T-REC Theory

The Genesis Over a decade of relentless motor research by Soon-Chang Roh, CEO of Roh Motor Co., Ltd., culminated in a groundbreaking achievement: the development of a patented “cogging torque-less” technology in 2016. During the evaluation of this permanent magnet (PM) motor, an extraordinary phenomenon emerged—it demonstrated an apparent system efficiency that seemingly defied the conventional 100% barrier.
By 2025, as this high-efficiency motor reached the mass-production stage, President Roh crossed paths with Mr. Sekizawa and Mr. Shin of Raisontech. Bound by a shared vision to see this transformative technology widely implemented across society, we formed a strategic partnership to introduce these motors to the Japanese market.

The Wall of Scientific Orthodoxy However, we immediately faced a monumental hurdle. At the time of our meeting, the theoretical mechanism behind this unprecedented efficiency remained a complete mystery. Despite possessing a fully functional physical prototype, our claims were met with deep skepticism. Certification bodies and academic institutions refused to validate the motor. Their hesitation was understandable: did this technology violate the absolute Law of Conservation of Energy? Without a robust mathematical and physical “theory” to explain the phenomenon, the establishment would not accept it. It was a period of profound struggle and frustration for our team.

The Breakthrough Determined to uncover the truth, we completely shifted our approach. We built a proprietary simulator based entirely on empirical measurement data extracted directly from the working prototype. Through countless, grueling iterations of hypothesis testing on this simulator, we finally cracked the code and arrived at a single, elegant truth: The T-REC Theory.
