Experimental Validation: KATEC February 2026
The prototype specifications are as follows:
- Continuous Rated Output: 1.8 kW @ 3,600 rpm
- Rated Voltage: Three-phase 315 V AC (wire-to-wire RMS)
- Rotor: Surface-mount N52 NdFeB permanent magnet, 10 poles
- Stator: 36 slots, distributed winding, 64 turns per phase, 0.8 mm copper wire, Class H insulation
Package Dimensions: Length 590 mm × Diameter 318 mm, Mass 42 kg
The test equipment and measuring instruments used were those of KATEC, an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited testing laboratory.
Measurement Results
Measurements were taken at the rated operating point (3,604 rpm, rated load).

What was revealed from the measured data:
- Torque output is 5 times higher
- Efficiency has increased to 267%
- One of the three phases clearly generates power.
Generally, when there is “three-phase imbalance,” efficiency decreases and heat generation increases. However, this motor shows improved efficiency and reduced heat generation.
